About

After completing graduate school and doing her fellowship in speech and language pathology, Ruth opened her pediatric private in Newport Beach in 2001. She has consistently received units which exceed state and national requirements and has received awards for continuing education (ACE) from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA). She graduated with honors and is a recipient of an Outstanding Student Award from the California Speech Language and Hearing Association (CSHA). She was honored at the Year of the Child Who Stutters Symposium for her commitment and volunteer service with the National Stuttering Association (NSA). Ruth received a full scholarship and was privileged to attend an international week-long workshop sponsored by the Stuttering Foundation of America (SFA).

Ruth spent a portion of her childhood in Middle East and went to boarding school in Europe. She enjoys volunteering her time at local community clinics, hospitals, schools, and orphanages in the states as well as abroad. As a result of these enriching experiences, she has been exposed to many cultures and languages, and enjoys working with the people from all walks of life. Ruth takes great pleasure seeing the positive difference she makes in the lives of the families with whom she works and is passionate about training clinicians, participating in research, and helping the community she serves.
